By 2023, KraftPal had moved far beyond its 2012 test phase in Maribor. The company had accumulated international production experience, industry awards, institutional investment and a substantial body of technology development around corrugated pallets and automated manufacturing.
European Innovation Recognition
KraftPal reported recognition by Digital First Magazine as one of Europe's Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in 2023, accompanied by an interview with CEO Gregor Brajovic focused on the potential of corrugated pallets to reduce costs and environmental impact.
Innovation Was Not One Invention
The KraftPal story is useful because it demonstrates that industrial innovation is rarely a single breakthrough. The company developed product architecture, specialized pallet variants, production machinery, intellectual property, sustainability positioning, licensing models and regional production concepts over many years.
