The philosophy
Nourish the Roots of your Health.
Looking after your health begins with the choices you make consistently: how you eat, how you move, how you rest and what you choose to add to your routine.
A supplement should have a clear place within that picture. Its ingredients, quantities and directions should help you understand the choice you are making.
DTC brings together four botanical extracts and Aloxyl-7.4™ in one formulation. Within the ZeeQuest approach, it accompanies THA during the preparation phase and continues into the stimulation phase.
To understand DTC, start with what is inside.
Meet DTC
Four Botanicals and a Shared Kelp Foundation.
DTC stands for Detox Complex. Its formulation combines:
- Milk thistle extract, standardized to 80% silymarin.
- Dandelion extract, standardized to 10% taraxol.
- Artichoke extract, standardized to 5% cynarin.
- Turmeric root extract, standardized to 50% curcumin.
- Aloxyl-7.4™, the Norwegian kelp phytocomplex shared across ZeeQuest Nutrition.
Each capsule also provides 150 μg iodine, declared alongside the kelp ingredient.
The botanical extracts distinguish DTC from THA, while Aloxyl-7.4™ connects it to the wider range.
A closer look at the ingredients
Understand the Formula, Ingredient by Ingredient.
Milk thistle
180 mg extract per capsule · 80% silymarin
Milk thistle is the largest botanical extract component in DTC by declared weight.
Its extract is standardized to 80% silymarin, providing 144 mg silymarin within the 180 mg extract.
Standardization makes the composition more specific: the label tells you both how much extract is included and the proportion represented by its named constituent.
Dandelion
130 mg extract per capsule · 10% taraxol
Dandelion contributes a separate botanical component to the formulation. Its extract is standardized to 10% taraxol.
DTC declares 130 mg of dandelion extract per capsule, allowing you to see its quantity alongside the other extracts rather than grouping everything into an undisclosed blend.
Artichoke
120 mg extract per capsule · 5% cynarin
Artichoke is the third botanical extract in DTC, with 120 mg in each capsule, standardized to 5% cynarin.
Together with milk thistle and dandelion, it forms the larger botanical portion of the formula.
Turmeric
40 mg extract per capsule · 50% curcumin
DTC contains turmeric root extract standardized to 50% curcumin.
Each capsule provides 20 mg curcumin within the 40 mg turmeric extract. As with milk thistle, the declared percentage helps explain the composition of the extract.
Aloxyl-7.4™
150 mg phytocomplex per capsule
Aloxyl-7.4™ is the Norwegian kelp ingredient used throughout ZeeQuest Nutrition, sourced from the brown seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum.
DTC contains 150 mg Aloxyl-7.4™ per capsule, with 150 μg iodine declared alongside it.
It is the shared ingredient linking DTC's botanical formulation with THA and MPR.
What standardization tells you
More Detail Behind the Ingredient Name.
An extract quantity and a standardized percentage describe different things.
The extract quantity tells you how much of that ingredient is included. The percentage tells you how much of the extract is represented by a particular constituent.
In DTC:
| Standardized extract | Extract per capsule | Declared constituent |
|---|---|---|
| Milk thistle at 80% silymarin | 180 mg | 144 mg silymarin |
| Dandelion at 10% taraxol | 130 mg | 10% taraxol |
| Artichoke at 5% cynarin | 120 mg | 5% cynarin |
| Turmeric root at 50% curcumin | 40 mg | 20 mg curcumin |
This information helps you understand and compare formulations. Standardization alone does not establish how a finished product will affect an individual.
The role of iodine
A Defined Nutritional Contribution.
Alongside its botanical extracts, DTC provides iodine from its kelp-based component.
Each capsule contains 150 μg iodine—100% of the adult nutrient reference value used for labelling.
Iodine has several recognised nutritional roles:
Energy metabolism
Iodine contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Thyroid function
Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function.
Nervous system
Iodine contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system.
