KraftPal Accelerates Nordic Expansion at Scanpack 2022

KraftPal continued its international expansion by strengthening its presence in the Nordic region through participation at Scanpack 2022, Northern Europe's leading trade fair for the packaging industry.

Representing KraftPal Nordics, the team introduced its lightweight, fully recyclable corrugated pallet technology to manufacturers, logistics providers and packaging professionals from across Sweden and the wider Nordic market.

Headquartered in Tampere, Finland, KraftPal Nordics has already completed successful customer trials with several regional companies, while additional industrial evaluations are progressing as organisations seek more sustainable transport packaging solutions.

Martin Wichmann, CEO of KraftPal Nordics, commented:

"Scanpack provided an excellent opportunity to introduce KraftPal technology to the Swedish market and engage directly with potential customers and strategic partners. The response confirmed the strong interest in sustainable logistics solutions and provides a solid foundation for our continued expansion across the Nordic region."

Why the Nordic Market Matters

The Nordic countries are widely recognised as global leaders in sustainability, circular economy initiatives and environmental innovation.

As businesses continue reducing their carbon footprint and strengthening ESG performance, demand for recyclable, lightweight transport packaging continues to increase across manufacturing, retail and logistics industries.

KraftPal believes these market trends make Sweden and the broader Nordic region strategically important for the adoption of next-generation corrugated pallet technology.

Building Local Manufacturing Capacity

Alongside commercial development, KraftPal has begun planning its first Swedish production facility to support long-term regional growth.

The final manufacturing location will be determined based on customer demand, logistics infrastructure and strategic partnerships, reinforcing KraftPal's decentralised manufacturing model that combines local production with globally standardised technology.

The Scanpack exhibition marked another important milestone in KraftPal's European expansion, strengthening relationships across the Nordic packaging ecosystem while supporting the company's vision of building sustainable regional manufacturing hubs throughout the world.
