KraftPal Founder Visits Saudi Arabia to Advance World's First Corrugated Pallet Mega-Factory
KraftPal Technologies reached another important milestone in its international expansion as Founder and CEO Gregor Brajović travelled to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to review progress on the company's first Mega-Factory project and strengthen strategic cooperation with regional partners and government representatives.
During the visit, Mr. Brajović met with Eng. Khalid Alsalem, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, together with Jumaan Al Zahrani, Chairman of KraftPal's strategic partners across the GCC region.
The meetings focused on reviewing project progress, discussing long-term industrial development and identifying new opportunities to accelerate sustainable manufacturing and logistics innovation throughout the Middle East.
Supporting Saudi Vision 2030
Since becoming part of Saudi Vision 2030, KraftPal has worked closely with regional partners to establish the foundation for large-scale production of sustainable corrugated pallet technology within the Kingdom.
The company has successfully:
Developed pallet models specifically designed for GCC logistics requirements.
Completed industrial product validation and customer trials.
Deployed proprietary manufacturing technology.
Obtained regulatory approvals for industrial operations.
Advanced engineering for the region's first corrugated pallet Mega-Factory.
The project reflects Saudi Arabia's broader ambition to strengthen advanced manufacturing, diversify its industrial base and accelerate the transition toward more sustainable production technologies.
The World's First Corrugated Pallet Mega-Factory
Once completed, the KraftPal Mega-Factory will become the world's first large-scale corrugated pallet manufacturing facility of its kind.
Located on an 86,000 m² industrial site, the facility is designed to produce up to 10 million corrugated pallets annually, supplying customers throughout Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
The project combines KraftPal's proprietary X-Pallet™ engineering with its automated Palletonator™ manufacturing platform, creating one of the most advanced pallet production facilities currently under development.
Construction of the industrial complex has already commenced, with the first production facilities scheduled to become operational during the next phase of the project.
Founder Perspective
Gregor Brajović, Founder and CEO of KraftPal Technologies, highlighted the strategic significance of the development:
"The Saudi Arabia project represents far more than the construction of another manufacturing facility. It demonstrates how long-term partnerships, engineering innovation and visionary industrial policy can come together to build entirely new manufacturing ecosystems."
"From the beginning, our ambition has been to localise production close to customers while maintaining globally standardised technology and engineering. Saudi Arabia provides an exceptional environment for industrial innovation, and we are proud to contribute to the Kingdom's Vision 2030 by introducing sustainable manufacturing technologies that support economic diversification and lower-carbon supply chains."
Building a Regional Manufacturing Ecosystem
The Mega-Factory forms part of KraftPal's broader international strategy of establishing regional production hubs capable of serving local markets through decentralised manufacturing.
This approach reduces transport distances, improves supply chain resilience and enables customers to benefit from locally manufactured products while maintaining globally consistent quality standards.
The Saudi Arabia facility is expected to become the cornerstone of KraftPal's operations across the Gulf region, supporting future expansion into Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman.
As construction progresses, the project represents another major milestone in KraftPal's mission to build a global manufacturing ecosystem capable of transforming transport packaging through engineering, automation and sustainability.
