Slovenian Embassy Visits KraftPal Austria to Explore Sustainable Manufacturing and Logistics Innovation
KraftPal Technologies welcomed a high-level delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Austria to its Austrian production facility, highlighting the company's continued contribution to sustainable manufacturing, industrial innovation and cross-border economic cooperation.
The delegation, led by Ambassador Aleksander Geržina and accompanied by Mag. Matjaž Marko, Economic Attaché, toured KraftPal's manufacturing operations and gained first-hand insight into the company's proprietary corrugated pallet technology, automated production systems and long-term vision for sustainable global logistics.
Showcasing Next-Generation Manufacturing
During the visit, KraftPal's management team presented the complete production process, demonstrating how FSC-certified corrugated materials, advanced engineering and automated manufacturing combine to produce lightweight, hygienic and fully recyclable transport pallets.
The delegation also observed the company's fourth-generation Palletonator™ production system in operation while reviewing plans for the introduction of the next-generation Palletonator™ 5.0, designed to further increase manufacturing speed, automation and production capacity.
The new production platform is expected to manufacture up to 1.5 million corrugated pallets annually, supporting growing international demand for sustainable transport packaging.
Sustainability Meets Industrial Performance
Throughout the visit, discussions focused on the growing importance of sustainable manufacturing and the transition toward lower-carbon supply chains across Europe.
KraftPal's corrugated pallet technology has been developed to reduce raw material consumption, improve recyclability and lower transport emissions while maintaining compatibility with existing logistics infrastructure.
These characteristics support the European Union's broader objectives relating to decarbonisation, circular economy principles and industrial competitiveness.
Ambassador Highlights Slovenian Innovation
Following the visit, Ambassador Aleksander Geržina commented:
"KraftPal addresses some of today's most important industrial and environmental challenges through practical innovation. The company's technology demonstrates how engineering can contribute to greener supply chains while strengthening European industrial competitiveness. It is encouraging to see Slovenian expertise driving solutions with global potential."
Mag. Matjaž Marko, Economic Attaché, added:
"Austria and Slovenia enjoy strong economic cooperation, particularly within the region of Styria. Companies such as KraftPal demonstrate the innovative capabilities of Slovenian industry while strengthening cross-border partnerships and creating new opportunities for sustainable industrial development."
Founder Perspective
Gregor Brajović, Founder and CEO of KraftPal Technologies, welcomed the visit as further recognition of the company's long-term mission.
"Innovation becomes meaningful only when it creates measurable value for society. Our objective has never been simply to manufacture pallets—it has been to rethink one of the most fundamental elements of global logistics through engineering, automation and sustainability. We are honoured to see increasing interest from governmental institutions that recognise the strategic importance of modernising industrial supply chains."
"As carbon reduction, circular economy legislation and industrial competitiveness become increasingly interconnected, we believe technologies capable of lowering emissions while improving operational efficiency will play a critical role in Europe's manufacturing future."
Supporting Europe's Green Industrial Transition
The visit formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen economic cooperation between Slovenia and Austria while promoting innovative industrial technologies that contribute to more sustainable manufacturing.
KraftPal's corrugated pallet technology has received international recognition for its engineering innovation and environmental performance, including the WorldStar Packaging Award presented by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO).
The visit further reinforced KraftPal's position as one of the emerging European industrial technology companies developing practical solutions for the future of global logistics.
